Our welding procedures are approved by the National Board
of Boiler and Pressure Vessel inspectors. Every IPPC welder is qualified
to section IX of the ASME code. A controlled number of Quality Assurance manuals are used for effective control and assurance of the quality required by industrial standards, contractual obligations, company policies and procedures and customers requirements. Personnel and company experience in power plant construction includes prime mechanical erection of one 90 Megawatt Wood Fired Power Plant and two 90 Megawatt Coal/Oil Fired Power Plants, a 300 Megawatt Coal/Oil Fired Power Plant, field assembly of new power boilers, boiler rehabs, numerous "r" stamp repairs, and the total turn-key erection of a 10 Megawatt Biomass Power Plant. Construction services provided for these projects included the following "Critical System" piping: High pressure feedwater, boiler trim, and water treatment systems. |

| IPPC personnel have experience erecting Copus Murray, General Electric, Terry, and Westinghouse Turbines of various sizes. IPPC has also erected two AAB STAL 45 Megawatt vax steam turbines. The major components of this particular system (generator, high pressure and low pressure turbines and condensers) were rigged and set in place using a 300 ton stator frame. | |

| Rigging and erection assignments are performed by company
personnel, as well as all precision equipment setting, which is performed
by IPPC in-house millwrights and instrument technicians who work closely
with manufacturer's representatives to insure proper alignment. Instuments
and specialty tools required for this type of assembly are provided by
IPPC. Our approach to turbine erection guarantees meeting high quality standards and fast track installation so often required in the cogeneration industry. |
