Industrial Power & Process Corp. - [Page 2]

The growth of the pharmaceutical and micro-electronics industries has developed requirements for highly sophisticated High-Purity Systems which are beyond the capabilities of all but the most progressive mechanical contracting firms.

IPPC has kept abreast of these developments to insure providing clients with up to date high quality installations that adhere to the F.D.A."s G.M.P. guidelines. IPPC developed and maintains its own Quality Control Systems and Standard Operating Procedure for welding and installation of high purity stainless tubing and piping systems.

These procedures include monitoring of all system components from receipt inspection through to final acceptance.

All high purity mechanics and welders are given a qualification to determine their ability to make a proper joint.

Detailed instruction is provided for proper material handling, storage, cleaning, welding, and installation. All IPPC personnel involved with high purity installations are instructed in accordance to the "SOP" and their work is inspected by IPPC's Quality Assurance Team.

The test specifications are closely evaluated for workmanship and cleanliness.

IPPC uses the latest orbital welding technology and all welders working on stainless steel systems are qualified per our automatic welding procedures in accordance to ASME Section IX.

Safety

Safety of our company and customer personnel is a top priority at IPPC. A comprehensive loss control program has been instituted to provide all employees a safe work environment. This program incorporates our Safety Manual, and an extensive Substance Abuse and Hazard Communication procedure.

Our Loss Control Program is administered, monitored, and updated by a safety committee made up of management and field personnel that conducts regular office meetings and on site inspections. In addition, all field superintendents hold weekly job site safety meetings to orient employees to job specific safety requirements and to continuously review general safe work practices.

In addition to attending OSHA Basic 910 Construction Safety and Health Training courses, IPPC superintendents and management personnel receive Red Cross sponsored CPR and First Aid training.

Superintendents that are involved with specific construction activities requiring competent persons receive proper training and OSHA certification.

Everyone at Industrial Power and Process Corporation is committed to maintaining a safe working environment on every project in which we are involved.
